Fall 2013

The pumpkin patch is exploding with orange globes and the leaves are crunching beneath our feet… there is no denying that fall is here!  This time of year is a personal favorite because of the cool weather, beautiful scenery, and of course the onset of fall cooking and baking.

This season at Two Barn Farm you can expect a bounty of hearty greens, squash, root crops, and more to keep you going strong during these brisk days and chilly nights.  Try a turnip green and kale sauté with onions, garlic and peppers paired with your favorite cut of pork. Pick up some fresh cider from the supermarket (or pickup a sack of apples from a local orchard to press your own!) and you will have a meal to satisfy everyone in the family. Whatever your taste buds desire, we have the finest vegetables and herbs to help you accomplish your culinary endeavors.  Stop on by the farm for a visit at your convenience or meet us at the Clinton Farmer’s Market on Sundays to pick up the ingredients for your next delicious meal.
